Fifty-eight per cent of voters in an online poll by AOL's web site Moviefone gave Lohan that dubious honour for her turn as a woman escaping a sadistic killer in the box-office flop, I Know Who Killed Me. The poll, which tallied more than 3.8 million votes, had more bad news for the starlet, who recently spent a brief stint in jail for drunken driving and cocaine possession and also attended voluntary rehab. Lohan, 21, had been sentenced in August to one day in jail after admitting guilt to drink and drug charges and was told by the court to serve her time before January. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Web site showed that Lohan checked into jail at 10:30am on Thursday (7.30am Fri NZT) and was released at 11:54am. The charges stemmed from a July car chase and an arrest in May after she wrecked her car in Beverly Hills. Lindsay Lohan dodged felony charges in her two drunken-driving cases, with prosecutors filing misdemeanor counts after tests found she possessed insufficient amounts of cocaine, authorities announced Thursday. The actress was charged with seven counts, including two counts each of driving under the influence, driving with blood alcohol of over .08 percent, being under the influence of cocaine, as well as reckless driving, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office says. By avoiding felony charges, Lohan faces a maximum penalty of days – rather than years – behind bars. If convicted of the two DUIs, she faces a mandatory sentence of at least four days in jail. However, her attorney could successfully argue for more rehab in lieu of jail time. The charges stem from two separate DUI incidents, one in May in Beverly Hills and one in July in Santa Monica.
