While they have neither confirm nor deny their rumored pregnancy, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are hunting for a new home, in which to raise their expanding family. Just days after Garner's former Alias co-star Victor Garber reportedly let slip the couple is expecting a second child, the actors have been snapped house hunting in Los Angeles. Affleck and Garner, who was struggling to hide a distinctive baby bump, spent an hour on Monday (21Jul08) at a construction site in Brentwood viewing a luxury house currently under construction. Although the couple has yet to confirm the pregnancy, Garner is expected to give birth later this year (08) to a little brother or sister for two-year-old daughter Violet. Garber insists comments he made about the possible pregnancy were taken out of context, and he has no idea if Garner is with child.

One of Dubai's most senior cardiologists spoke out on Friday about the boom in local cosmetic surgery practices, warning patients to prepare in advance of potentially risky operations. Dr Klaus Kallmayer, from the German Heart Centre in Dubai Healthcare City, said more had to be done to warn patients about the dangers of the surgery so decisions were not taken lightly. An Emirati woman underwent laser liposuction surgery at a Dubai hospital in November, 2007 but at the end of the procedure, her heart stopped, cutting off the oxygen supply to the brain. Doctors resuscitated her but she had already slipped into a coma and died a few days later. And, where the licences of the plastic surgeon and other staff involved in this incident have been suspended, Dr Kallmayer believes more should be done to explain the dangers to potential patients.
