Paris Hilton Sold Her Hollywood Hills Mansion, Seeking Privacy

Paris Hilton has sold her Hollywood Hills mansion for $5 million in a quest for — wait for it — privacy. The Spanish-style 1920s manor, featuring four bedrooms and three-a-half bathrooms, sold in just 10 days.

It was Hilton's home for three years and was where she famously served 48-hours of house arrest before being sent back to jail.

But the sale may prove to have been in vain after two fans harassed Hilton at her Malibu estate. The duo allegedly buzzed Hilton's intercom, repeatedly asking for Paris.

The former heiress attempted to disguise her voice as a Spanish maid and temporarily tricked the girls into thinking she wasn't there.

But the plan failed when one of her tormentors spied Hilton through the gates. Hilton's neighbours appear to be looking forward to seeing the end of the Paris soap opera.

One famous ex-neighbour is Cameron Diaz, who complained about the constant media presence that surrounded the suburb when Hilton was hauled off to prison.

“Paris made her bad choices, she’s going to have to deal with it, that’s her journey," Diaz told Usmagazine.com.

"She just has to get plastered all over the world… there were 10 helicopters above her house, which I live not too far from (and) I was like, ‘Could you please keep it down?’ "We all suffer when Paris suffers.”
